Snowin' in Memphis!

YAY!! We had a snow day in Memphis. Daddy got off early from work and we got to play in the snow. OH BOY!

We have had lots of fun playing with NeeNee and PopPop already and it's only been 1 day!! We can't wait to see what we do for the rest of the week!

We're SO excited!!!!

NeeNee and PopPop are here this week. They arrived this afternoon and we are so excited that we get to spend the whole week with them. We started it off right with a trip to Rendezvous for ribs. YUMMY! Lots to pictures to come. Stay tuned!

Finally Outside!

It was 61 degrees so we finally got to spend a little time outside. After school we made our way to the playground. Julianna was very happy to get a chance to run around! Here she is "sitting on my shadow."

We were rooting for the Raven's tonight. :( Maybe they lost because Julianna was putting her heart into cheering for the RAISINS. ;)

Q-T-Pie

Here are the pink cowgirl boots. Complete with Ballerina outfit and an extra tutu on top.

Playing her special barbie guitar while we played the real thing. We had our friends Wade and Ellen over for a little Wii this evening. We rocked for a while then STRUGGLED with MarioCart until we were all too tired to play anymore.

Oh What A Night!

Ike and I had SUCH a fun night out tonight. We drove to Southaven, MS to see Brad Paisley with Darius Rucker (previously known as Hootie), and Dierks Bentley. It was AWESOME. We had so much fun. The babysitter was great and Julianna did really well for her. YAY!!! I felt like we were dating again. :)

My camera battery actually died just as I tried to take the first picture. We turned it off and tried again a little later and were able to capture a few. We had great seats.

I sang a duet with Brad Paisley tonight. It was awesome. No one else heard it... well maybe Ike, but trust me.... I was harmonizing the crap out of his songs. :)

He is an amazing performer. All of the acts were really impressive. I recommend his show if he is touring near you.

What we've been up to

We've been MIA for a few days. I have had bronchitis and not felt like blogging but now we are back in action. Here are a few pics from the last few days.

She is so funny. I wouldn't have even thought she knew what a veil looked like. When she was a flower girl, the bride didn't wear one. Who knows... the kid's a sponge!

Back to reality

We are back home.
Ike is at work, Julianna is getting ready for school, and we ALL are exhausted. We had a fun couple of weeks around the holidays but now it's time to recover and get back to our regular routines.

Jackson Hole

We are back on the East Coast. Our luggage finally arrived about 12 hrs after we did... but we are back all in one piece! Our trip was wonderful. So great to see Dave and Holly and her family. We can't say enough about the hospitality while we were there. THANK YOU!

A deer who stopped by for a morning snack at the bird feeder. I was sitting in the kitchen when I saw this out the window. We also saw a moose, some elk and some bison.



This is Lander. One of the 7 dogs at the house. They are the sweetest, well behaved dogs I have ever met. So sweet. Lander is a snow magnet... he comes in COVERED. They all love to play in the snow and it is so funny to watch.

Happy New Year

We've had about 10 inches of snow here in Jackson today!! It is beautiful!! I wonder if our flight tomorrow will leave on time?? I wouldn't mind staying a little longer but I sure do miss my baby girl. I hope she like the little pink cowgirl boots I got for her! :)
