Julianna-isms

This child...   I wish I could say "I don't know where she gets it from?!?!"  But, I know exactly where she gets it from.  Lord, please grant me patience in her teen years.
Seeing her work come home each day is never dull.  I never know what to expect.  And I don't mean grades.  She's very bright.  Sometimes too bright.  And some times down right rude.  Lord, please grant her teachers patience throughout her school years.  :)
Here she clearly thought that circling the problems that needed "regrouping" was too boring.  She wanted to "Put a star on" them instead.

Here she was so excited to see her name in the word problem that she had to make a note of it.  "I'm famous."

This one caused her Daddy to have heart palpations.  Obviously this answer was too easy. "Duh."

What are we going to do with you?

Ballet Family Day

On December 13th we got to watch Julianna during her ballet class.  It was so fun to watch these cute little ballerinas.

Christmas Tree Hunt of 2013

These pics are a little out of order.  That's what happens when I get so far behind.  Anyway, right after Thanksgiving we went with NeeNee and PopPop to cut down their Christmas tree.  (FYI, Julianna does not wear glasses, they are just for pretend and she wore them ALL day!)

The tree was on the large side.  haha

The next weekend we went on our own tree search.  We found the perfect tree at Washington Farm United Methodist Church.  Very close to Mt. Vernon.

All decorated and it was the perfect size.  Not to tall, not to short, not to fat, and not too skinny.  Perfect.

Ryan's 2nd Birthday

Ryan celebrated birthday #2 with an Airplane theme.  We went to the Air and Space museum and then enjoyed delicious cupcakes back at Chad and Sara's house.  We love being so close and able to spend so much time together.  Happy Birthday Baby RyRy!

Beginning of December 2013

How do I let so much time pass with out posting?! Here we go...
This fall, a local photographer and military spouse did a fundraiser to help Mason's preschool friend Patrick, who is fighting cancer.  The proceeds of the photo shoot went to Patrick's family to cover some of their expenses.  Here is the picture that we got.  LUCY!!!  I believe Julianna was still missing her 2 front teeth, hence the closed mouth smile. These 3 are wonderful playmates... and they drive each other nuts.  Lucy is the most patient dog.  The kids really put her through the wringer!

Next up we have Fall School pictures.  They are scanned so the colors are a little off.

And finally here we are in early December with some snow after a Sunday at church.  This is the day we met Santa.

Sorry for the poor quality.  I took a picture of a picture.

We made a "beautiful" gingerbread house.

We have several ice/snow issues this year.  Nothing really fun to play in but pretty nonetheless.

We also had our Christmas Program at church.  Mason, Julianna and I all 3 sang this year.

Ryan came to cheer us on!
