Trick-or-Treat

Happy Halloween everybody!! We had a lot of fun Trick-or-Treating tonight.

Our neighbors had all kinds of decorations. Julianna loved it.

Do you think they have candy at that house Mommy?

This is pretty cool. All I have to do is dress up in a funny costume and I get candy!! SWEET!

She just loved her costume and loved to look at herself in the mirror. I wonder what she will want to be next year??

Halloween Party

Here is our sweet Raggedy Ann. She was the star of the Halloween Party at school today. We had so much fun.

Daddy even came to school to watch the costume parade.

Then we got to Trick-or-Treat at each of the classrooms.

Then decorate pumpkins.

And make hands by filling gloves with cheerios and M&Ms.

It was a really special day. Julianna really loved all of the activities and I was so happy to be at school with her. Tomorrow we get to go Trick-Or-Treating again!! OHHHH BOY! :)

Wendy Whiner

She loves to see herself on the camera, but she hasn't quite figured out that she has to do something before she can watch it! Here is some whining... cute whining. :)

Fall Fun

We had a fun day full with fall activities. After church we ate lunch at Cracker Barrel. Julianna had so much fun and looked pretty in her new scarecrow smocked dress. We got it at an awesome little children's store in Hernando, MS when we were at Cedar Hill Farm yesterday.

Then, after a nice long (2.5 hr) nap we decided to make a pumpkin pie.

Helping me mix up the filling.

I usually make my own crust but today I cheated. However, we added a little embellishment to make up for it. These are the Williams-Sonoma pie crust cutters. Julianna had so much fun helping me make them.

Then Ike and Julianna carved our pumpkin. Isn't he cute?! We have another one to do tomorrow.

See my "jack-a-lern." That's how she says it every time. Cracks me up.

Then we decided to roast the seeds for a late night snack! YUMMY!!! I am feeling very domestic this fall. haha
It was a great family weekend. We LOVE fall!

Cedar Hill Farm

Ike and I decided to take Julianna to Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando, MS today. We had SUCH a great time, the weather was just right... cool enough to feel like fall but not so cold that you wanted to be inside. It was perfect. Julianna really enjoyed herself and was SO tired that she fell asleep within minutes of getting back in the car. We have LOTS of pictures here but there were so many good ones it was hard to pick just a few. I took about 150 today!

Pumpkin Patch

Looking for just the right one.

This one looked like a good seat.

A little too heavy. But she really tried.

With Daddy! :)

Look at that silly scarecrow!

BOO!

Daddy made a good picture spot with the pumpkins.

LOOK WHAT SHE DID!!!! Julianna actually rode one of the ponies. She was scared at first so we watched for one round. After that she really wanted to get on.

Sitting so straight. Holding on to the saddle.

I was so surprised that she rode it. I was proud of her!

Look How Tall This Fall.

She kept posing here because people were walking by saying, "look how cute!" so she really started hamming it up for the crowd.
Watching the Chicken Show.
Having SO MUCH FUN!
Driving the train.
She really liked pretending to drive. CHOOOOCHOOOO!
We had a great day and look forward to going back again.

Trike-A-Thon

Today, Julianna's preschool did a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It was a Trike-A-Thon. Pretty funny. A lot of the kids (including Julianna) can't actually pedal so it was more like a "Scoot-A-Thon." They each had to wear a helmet which was funny.

All of the bikes lined up.

The Silly Snails lined up getting ready to get on their bikes.

On their way to the gym. It was raining and pretty yucky outside today.

My little biker.

Dawson had an awesome ride-on airplane with a light up propeller. It was the hit of the party. All the boys were totally obsessed.

Vroom, Vroom!

Julianna and her friend Savannah.

Playing with the girls on the firetruck.

She loves her new Sesame Street helmet.
Whoa, fall down. All this charity work is exhausting! I need some lunch!
God is Great, God is Good... let's eat!

It was really cute watching the kids today. So much fun to see Julianna playing with her friends. I am so happy that Julianna is at this school!!

Decatur Weekend

This weekend we were in Decatur for a wedding. While we were there Julianna had a few photos taken by a man who does pastel drawings. We have been working on a nice, sweet smile but we might need some more practice. She actually did really well for him and posed and stood still. She was great. Here are some pics we took while we were there.

Mommy, is this a pretty smile?

Sitting so the man could do a rough sketch of her face.

Posing in the park.

Wearing her nightgown that I told Nana I may let her wear to church one Sunday. It is so pretty!

Me and my favorite girl.

Playing outside with cousin.

We are now entering the part that should probably be it's own blog post. Ike and I went to the Ozier/Blythe wedding on Saturday night. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was outside at the Blythe's house and it was wonderful. We had a babysitter and decided we were really going to have a good time because we don't get to go out alone very often. However we may have gone a little overboard. Open bar... need I say more. Several drinks later we ended up at The Brick to meet JM and Carlton. They were out for their class reunion. These are just some of the G rated pics that I will post but I will say when we got home it wasn't pretty. I didn't even come downstairs until about 1130am and didn't get dressed until close to 2. Same goes for Ike. We were glad Nana and Papa could take care of Julianna for us so we could recover. We did have SUCH a good time though and realized that although you may make a fool out of yourself, it is important to let your hair down every once in a while.

At The Brick.

A few of JM's friends and classmates.

Ike riding home in the car seat. Just take note of me in the front seat. Yeah, it was that bad. I looked pretty awesome! ha

Back to my normal type of blogging.

Julianna enjoying some banana for lunch.

Nana "holding 2 of 'em" as Julianna would say.

Papa pulling the girls in the wagon.

We got back to Memphis tonight around 8pm. Julianna was exhausted after all the playing and went straight to bed. Thanks everyone for a great weekend. No more red wine for a while! :)
