Pop Pop's Birthday!!!

Wake up Pop Pop!! It's your BIRTHDAY!!!

We went down to the hangar to see Ike take off for his trip to Kauai for 2 weeks for work.

Then we took Pop Pop to breakfast at our favorite crepes place.

After lunch it was time for cake. Chocolate cake with orange cream filling.

Then Julianna decided that Pop Pop needed a bouncy house for his birthday like all of her other friends do. So.... we rented one for the weekend. Pop Pop's gonna sleep GOOOODD tonight! :)

Happy Birthday! We are so glad you are here with us. We have enjoyed this visit so much. It's going too fast!!!

Free Entertainment

Thursday is yard work day. Mason couldn't be happier when he hears those mowers coming. Since Julianna is home this week on break he was pleased to share this weekly experience with her. Too cute.

Zoo!

Off to Honolulu we went!!

Our adventure was threatened with early morning rain but we decided to head to the zoo anyway. I am SO glad we did. It was the perfect temperature, no rain, and we had a great time.

Julianna and Trevor have been friends since we lived in Virginia. I love that we get to cross paths with friends from the past.

After the zoo we came home for a nap and then headed to the dentist.

No cavities here.

None here either. Just a beautiful smile!!!

Girls Getaway!

Saturday night we had our girls overnight getaway to Turtle Bay. Everyone had a great time. It's nice to get away from the husbands and the children for a little while.

I have to admit, I was the party pooper of the group. I had a major headache (go figure) and actually left dinner without ordering so I could go to bed. I guess I needed to rest. Although I missed out on some fun, I did get 12 hours of sleep. I'm ok with that.
