I think I forgot to mention something...

So, back in June we found out we were expecting Baby #3!!!  This has not been a secret but I didn't want to post until I had the blog more up to date!  The fun thing is now I am 31 weeks along so I have pics of my growing belly to add.  This might be a little weird for some of you and I feel totally vain making an entire post of selfies.... but, this blog serves as our family journal and essentially our kids baby books.  So, swallowing my pride, here are way to many pictures of me and this growing bundle.

The kids had been BEGGING for a baby.  Ike and I really thought we were done with 2 children.  But the more they talked about it, the more we thought about it and well...

Here is our first look at little Baby Stutts #3.

30 weeks, Baby Girl Stutts coming around February 14, 2015!

Here is our gender reveal to the kids (and to facebook).  We laugh so hard watching this!

And as you see Mason changed his attitude and enjoyed himself and the silly string.

Now that he has had time to process the idea of another sister he is very happy and we are all looking forward to her arrival in February!!  Only 8 weeks to go! :)

Thanksgiving Weekend (November 27-30, 2014)

As usual Mom had a beautiful table set for 18.  We were missing 2 since poor Aunt Sherry and Uncle Vince had tested positive for the flu! :( We enjoyed a lovely meal and visiting with our cousins from Delaware.  Someone has a whole group shot, I'll have to get that!

Here we are with Uncle Arthur.  Just a few days short of 94 in these photos.

The following day was NeeNee's birthday and we went to cut down their big Christmas tree!

 Happy Birthday to you!!

The next day we found this little friend outside.  How cute is this little turtle?

In the evening we headed in to town for the Cambridge Tree Lighting.  The Chorus of Dorchester sang.  Pop Pop is on the back row.

 Ta da!

Then we walked over to the old fire station to see the train display.  We used to do this when I was a kid.  They loved it.

We had a really great weekend and Ike even got some hunting in while we hung with Nee Nee and Pop Pop.  I'll have to add a picture or 2 of his hunting as well.  Let just say we will be eating a Christmas Goose!

Trip to Alabama (Veterans Weekend)

I'm going to let the photos do most of the talking for this one.  We flew down to Decatur over Veterans Day weekend, of course we squeezed in an Auburn game, and the kids were thrilled for FLY!  We had not been on an airplane since moving back to the mainland in 2012.  We were going down so that Ike could speak at Decatur High School's Veterans Day Assembly.  We had a great time, he did a great job.... all in all, fantastic trip!
