Fun in the Leaves

 Our friends next door, The Orts, had a HUGE leaf pile for the kids in the front yard.  Boy did we have fun with that!   Leaves + tire swing = Lots of SCREAMING and LAUGHING!!

DC Tourists

 Last weekend we had great weather so we ventured into the city to be tourists for the afternoon. 

Our visit must have inspired Ike and I so we went to see "Lincoln" at the theater on Tuesday night.  Great movie!! And what parent doesn't enjoy a night out alone!

Veteran's Day Assembly

 On Monday, November 12, Julianna's school had a Veteran's Day assembly.  They invited all military family members to come to the school and speak in the classrooms.  Julianna was proud to have Daddy there.  The school chorus sang during the flag raising, and the band played when we walked in the building.  It was very special for Ike to be there.

Swinging

Papa hung a new tire swing in their yard.  Oh boy did we have fun with that!

Lily's Baptism

We were in Alabama last weekend.  We drove down on Friday night, spent Saturday in Auburn (all of those pics are on JM's camera) and Sunday was Lily's baptism.  Here are just a few (25 or 30) of my favorites from the day. :)

 We had a great visit.  The kids all play so well together.  Mason and Mary-Reed really hit it off this time.  Julianna and "Cousin" always have fun.  Lily was a sweetie pie. And we had a safe drive there and back!  Very thankful to have good little travelers.  They do very little complaining on our 12 hour drives.
