Gunston Soccer

Both kids are playing soccer this Spring.  Julianna has practice during the week and games on Saturdays.  Mason just has practice on Saturdays .  They both have really enjoyed it and both have some good skills.  Julianna is FAST and AGGRESSIVE.  She has scored several goals this season.  And Mason has pretty good skills for a 3 year old.  He can trap the ball really well and does great moving the ball across the field.  I'm really proud of them both.

This and That (Cherry Blossoms, Wedding, 5K and Singing)

Most of these pics are from about a month ago.  In April the Cherry Blossoms Bloomed at the Tidal Basin.  It is beautiful and traffic is ridiculous.  So, we drove up and looked from the other side where we could actually find a parking place. :)

 On our way out I took this pic from the car.

 Ike and I spent a weekend in Annapolis while the kids were in Linkwood with my parents.  We had a wedding to attend at the Naval Academy.  It was a fun weekend and the wedding was beautiful.

 Mason had "Western Week" at school.  Here is his WANTED poster.

 Chad, Sara, Ike and I did a 5K night time run.  It was a lot of fun.  The best part was that I actually ran the whole thing.  I am not a runner.  I'm pretty sure I have never run a 5K without stopping before.  Honestly, I've never TRIED to run a 5K before!  But, I did it and the GLO part made it even more fun. Thanks for encouraging me to keep going.

And this is a video of Mason's choir at church practicing for a Sunday performance.  It was adorable.  Mason had to go potty so as soon as they were done he was ready to run off the stage! ha

White House Easter Egg Roll 2013

This face says "Daddy, why did you wake me up at 5:30am and bring me out into the cold, fog?"

 Once they got where they were going and the fog started to lift he was a pretty happy boy.  Chad, Sara, and Ryan got us 2 tickets to the Easter Egg Roll at the White House this year.  Ike and Mason were excited to go!

Easter 2013

Easter was spent in Maryland and Delaware this year. We dyed eggs at NeeNee and PopPop's house. 

 Aunt Martha and Uncle Rick invited us over for an Easter egg hunt at their house with Tempe (and Bailey.)

We did not get one single family picture this Easter.  I was singing in the choir with Dad.  Mom tried to get some for me of Ike and the kids but it was just one of those days I guess.  Every picture had someone making a funny face.  This was the best of the bunch.

 Julianna looks absolutely exhausted in these pictures.  Maybe her ear was still hurting, who knows.

 Baby Ry Ry had some helpers because he kept dumping out his bag of eggs.  That was way more fun than looking for new eggs.

 The kids checked out their loot at Aunt Sherry and Uncle Vince's house.

We do miss Hawaii, but it's nice to be back for family holidays again.   :)
