4 years ago in a galaxy far, far away a little Jedi was born...
Thursday, Aug 22 was the eve before the big 4th birthday. He put on his "Mason is almost 4" hat and let me take a few pics of him in his new Star Wars jammies. He was being such a goof ball and I was loving all of these pictures of my 3 year old. He was only my 3 year old for a few more hours.
Even big muscle dudes eventually get tired.
This was the very last picture I took of him while he was 3. :( However, once he was asleep we started a little birthday prep for the morning.
This was waiting at his breakfast spot.
This was on his door.
And these were all over the floor.
When he woke up on Friday morning he called me to his room. He was still laying in his bed, half asleep, and he whispered "I'm four." in the most precious voice.
Daddy went in to work late so he could be here for presents. We started right away!
Check out his pool noodle light saber. It was a huge hit!
LOVE THIS PICTURE! He is in the air about to pounce on me and whack me as hard as possible with that lightsaber! haha
After a fun day visiting with some friends we had a little family celebration and cake.
Make a wish! I wish you are always as sweet as you are right now!
NeeNee and PopPop were here for the party in the morning.
HAHAHAHA Instead of kissing her on the cheek, Daddy stuck his tongue in her ear. Her face is hysterical!
Saturday morning was the big pool party. Pizza, cupcakes and lightsabers were on the menu!
I got this idea from Pinterest. Just cut a pool noodle in half. Use some tape for decoration and there you go!
We had all of Mason's favorite snacks. None were healthy.
Here is his lightsaber cupcake display.
We are so blessed to have great friends to celebrate with.
Baby RyRy enjoyed his cupcake. I have the cutest nephew.
As you can see, a good time was had by all.
May the FOURS be with you...
