January 21, 2015: New Niece Amelia!!

Julianna has been over the moon excited about the arrival of so many babies.  Finally (!), Amelia arrived on 1-21-15 at 1235am weighing in at a mere 4lbs 1oz.  She is tiny and perfect and the kids could not wait to get their hands on her.  Julianna had this on her floor when I went in that morning.  She had asked if Amelia was born while she was sleeping to please slide a note under her door so she would know as soon as she woke up.

This cake was also the work of Julianna.  For weeks she has been asking to make a cake with a baby on it for Amelia.  What she wanted to actually do was beyond my creative and baking skill so we simplified.  Mason got to help too.

And finally here she is.  This was one of the first pics I got send to me by Chad that night.

That afternoon we drove over (in the snow... snow was not going to hold Julianna back) to finally meet her in person.

Amelia and Elizabeth's first picture together.  Well, with one outside and one still in.  We still have a few more weeks until their OFFICIAL first picture together.

Last but not least, this is my favorite picture of her so far.  Because she was so small they had to do a car seat challenge test to make sure she could maintain her oxygen level while sitting upright in the seat.  She looks like a doll baby.  I can't stop looking at how precious and tiny she is here.  She passed her test and they were able to go home the day after she was born.  Amazing!! We are all so thankful she was born healthy and just tiny with no other issues.  Now we are all even more excited to meet OUR baby.

January 10, 2015 Maternity Photo Shoot

My friend Carrie offered to take some maternity pictures for us and I was thrilled to have these done.  Carrie is not a professional photographer, but has taken it up as a hobby and I think she does a great job.  Maybe professional in the future....
Anywho, here are some of my favorites from that day.  I was 34 weeks pregnant and we were at Mom and Dad's house.  Too cold to go outside so we found a nice sunny spot inside.

Even Lucy got in on the action.  She is the biggest, big sister after all.  Thank you Carrie for taking your time to do this for us.  We love the pictures and can't wait for Baby E to arrive.

Christmas Holiday Shenanigans

Every holiday season we are reminded how blessed we are.  We are blessed with amazing family and friends.  We are blessed with a very active church with lots of activities for our family.  We are blessed with a lovely home.  We are blessed with a Savior, born to die for us.
Right after Thanksgiving we set out to find this years perfect tree.

 Found it!

We got the house all decorated and before we knew it our Elves were back to visit.

Looks like on of our ornaments has a crack in it! hahah  This kid is a hoot!

Julianna was invited to an American Girl birthday party at the mall and while we were there we decided to stop by and see Santa.

We were not anticipating a family photo, but here we all are!

The kids had to stand on the scanner to see if they were on the naughty or nice list. I don't think he was worried.

 He made the nice list.

Sissy was super nervous but luckily she made the nice list as well. ;)

Mason was nervous but was brave enough to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what he wanted for Christmas.

So sweet, they look little here.

On December 10th, Uncle Arthur celebrated his 94th Birthday.  He is amazing.  He's still living on his own and doing very well.

Here are a few family pics on our way to church programs.

Christmas Eve we celebrated with a Birthday Cake for Jesus.  It obviously was a costume party for some reason?!

We got some sweet cousin pictures in the Christmas jammies before everyone had to go to bed.

Last year there was more room in the sled!  They are all growing so fast.

The kids got everything ready for Santa.  Cookies, milk, carrots, a letter and a picture.

Christmas morning was exciting as always.  Julianna was excited for Mason to open this one because she picked it out for him.

Julianna and I each got a ticket to the Taylor Swift Concert coming up in July!!!  So excited!!

In the afternoon the rest of the crew came over.  Ryan wanted to open everyone's gifts,  but he was very excited when he finally got to open something for him.

This is one of my favorite gifts of all time.

These pictures got out of order but here we are Christmas Eve.

Mason was not interested in smiling.  My friend made this meme and I laugh every time I see it.

The weekend after Christmas we went over to Linkwood to celebrate with the Delaware side of the family.

We had a fantastic Christmas and look forward to an even more exciting 2015.

New Year's Eve we hung out with some neighbors.  We actually stayed awake until MIDNIGHT!!!!  Happy New Year from the growing Stutts family! :)
