Proud to be an American (and her mother)

It was drizzling outside today so we spent a lot of time playing inside. I asked if she would do the Pledge of Allegiance on camera and she said "no." When I told her she could splash in the puddles outside afterwards she quickly changed her answer to "yes." I am so proud of her. I think she is the smartest little 3 year old that I have ever met. She is hilarious too. I have several more funny videos of her singing and dancing that I will post another time. She sure has kept me entertained today!!! As I type this she is giving me a hard time about taking her nap...

Friday Night Bowling

Friday night was the Hail and Farewell at our new squadron. They had it at the base bowling alley so it was family friendly. Julianna had a great time with the other kids. Most of the time they barely got the ball down the lane, but how cute are her tiny little bowling shoes! :)

Compliment

Mason LOVES a compliment. Whenever someone tells him he is handsome he smiles from ear to ear. It is hysterical. And in my unbiased opinion he is pretty handsome! :)

Life's a beach

Today we had a visitor! Anne and her husband were in Hawaii for Navy business and she met us for a nice little picnic on the beach. Julianna loved having a new person to play with. Anne was very tolerant of Julianna's requests to build a castle and dig in the sand with her. We enjoyed getting out with an extra set of hands... I am still building my confidence to go to the beach alone with 2 kids. I'm ALMOST there. Thank you Anne for hanging out with us! It was great to see you.
