Mason's School

 Mason thought he could hide in the bushes to get away from my camera.  Think again boy... not this Mama!

 When we got to his class he went straight in and started playing with toys.  

 He checked them all out.  I don't think he wanted me to bother him with a picture but you know me.

 I tricked him in to looking.  "Mason, look what Mommy has!"  (oh, just the camera)

This one was a sneaky one too.  One of the cars went under the table and he wanted me to help him get it. I just had to sneak a picture first.  :)

I love my big boy.  He is doing very well at school and the first week was great. So excited to have them both in school again. Here's to a good year. Cheers! (oh, am I the only one drinking?!)  hahaha

1st

It's been a week full of firsts for Julianna.

 First day of 1st Grade.

 And she lost her 1st tooth.  The tooth fairy even came!! How exciting.  She's growing fast!

Team Spirit!

Pretty self explanatory.  The kids like to torture the dog.  Secretly she loves it. (I hope!)

And..... Mason is done.  Lucy is still sitting there nicely, waiting for us to stop torturing her and take off the clothes.  Sweet girl.

Birthday Part 2: Pool and Cupcakes

 After a nap we headed to the pool to hang out with friends and eat some cupcakes.  Mason LOVES the pool and is very brave.  He loves to swim.

 Mason's best buddy from Hawaii, Connor, recently moved to this area and we were so happy he was able to join the party.  It was a fun reunion.

 When we got home we still had presents that we had not opened yet.  So we had more fun!!

 This picture would have been funnier if it was a video but basically Mason was dancing around in his new dinosaur raincoat.  I think he enjoyed turning 3.  Thank you to all who helped us celebrate and sent birthday gifts to our big boy!!!

Birthday at the Museum

 First things first... Mason had some presents to open!!!  CC and Aunt Carrie stopped by with their gifts  and NeeNee and PopPop had spent the night.  It was like Christmas morning.  :)

 CC and Aunt Carrie even had a couple of things for Julianna too.  Loose tooth surprises and back to school.  

 Mason liked his musical Batman card from Sissy.

After presents we ventured into DC for a little museum outing for the birthday boy.

 Pop Pop tried to feed her to the dinosaur so he could run away!  :)

 This series of pictures made me laugh.  They were eating.  Then talking.  Then fighting.  Then crying. Hilarious.  All in about 1 minute span.

 After a fun family morning we had to get home and rest so we could celebrate at the pool in the afternoon!!
