Next stop: Liberty Bell

This was actually the point of our trip.  Julianna's dance recital is themed "Let's take a trip!"  Julianna class is doing a dance themed around the Liberty Bell.  So, we figured why not go see the real thing.  

Don't you think they could have fixed it by now?

Trip to Philly - Please Touch Museum

 Once we were comfortable with our Spring Break snow report we packed the car and headed for a quick road trip to Philly.  First stop was a children's museum called the "Please Touch" museum.  All hands on and just for kids.  They had a blast.

"Spring" Break?

While all of our friends were posting pictures of their families at the beach or on a cruise, we looked out the window to find snow.  So we said forget it... we're putting on our bathing suits too!  :)

 These poor flowers thought it was spring.

 But Mr. Snowman thought otherwise.  Not yet my friends.  Hopefully we will have spring weather soon!

We used raisins and a carrot sliver for his nose.  

Time to warm up with hot chocolate and sit by the "fire" place.

Family Photo Shoot

On Palm Sunday we got the whole family together to do a photo shoot in my hometown.  It was my Dad's birthday and I wanted to get some good pics of the grandkids for him.  So we met at the Hyatt and met with photographer Melissa Manzione (also from near my hometown) and she took these awesome pictures.  Thank you!

Happy Birthday, Pop Pop.  We love you more than words could say!
