Mason's 5th Birthday (August 23)

We had the best time celebrating Mason's big 5th birthday!!  We spent the morning opening presents and the afternoon with family and a Washington Nats Game!

 Ike made this beautiful wooden bat for Mason.

 This stuffed George Washington is hilarious.

 You would assume that a 4pm baseball game at the end of August would be rather warm.  It was shockingly chilly on this afternoon after a bit of rain and a rain delay.  It certainly did not put a damper on our fun.  I would rather be chilly than sweating to death any day!

Huntley Meadows Park with Ryan (August 20)

Uncle Chad had a day off and he brought Ryan over to explore with Mason.  We went over to Huntley Meadows Park which is very close by and was really pretty.  We saw lots of little fish, tadpoles, frogs and even a beautiful big blue heron.  

Great Wolf Lodge (August 7&8)

 We took a fun little trip over to Williamsburg, Va to see Colonial Williamsburg as well as some fun for the kids at Great Wolf Lodge.  They loved it.  Mostly the water part at Great Wolf Lodge.  It's now October that I'm getting around to posting this and they still talk about it ALL the time.  When can we go back???  Julianna's faces in these pics cracks me up.  What an actress!

Totally 80's (August 2)

Ike and I had a hilarious time at our pool this summer for the 80's party.  Seriously cracks me up looking at this pictures.
