WOW!

Today Julianna and I met a few other Mom's and their kids at the WOW (World of Wonders) Garden in Norfolk. The botanical gardens really are pretty here. Not only is the kids park a WOW, the weather was a big WOW today too. I believe the high is 79 degrees and it is gorgeous!! As always I had my camera with me to capture a few (hundred) pics from our adventure.

Lucy's Big Day

Spending a little quality time last night... she totally knew something was up! (please disregard the fact that I look like crap in this pic.)


At this point I am hoping that Lucy (and the Human Blood next to her) arrive safely at their destinations.

Today Lucy took her first flight to Alabama. She flew down to stay with Nana & Papa for a couple of months until Ike gets back. I will be down there soon for a few weeks so I will get to see her in a week. I was very worried that she was going to be nervous and get sick or something in her crate. According to Jennie Marie she was just fine and very happy to see them when she arrived. Here are a few pics of her waiting to get on the plane. She still looks like she is smiling! I miss you Lucy girl!! :) Julianna misses her "Sushi" too. She walked over to her crate in our laundry room after Lucy had gone and said really pitiful "Bye, Sushi." And walked away. aweeee.. Does she really understand that Lucy isn't going to be here anymore for a while?? Who knows...

Ha Ha Ha! Just kidding! Happy 60th Birthday! Hope you enjoyed your day. Glad we could celebrate at Easter. We love you so much! You're the best Dad and Pop Pop in the whole wide world! :)

Aunt Carrie

Aunt Carrie was in town this week. So was my friend Jen but somehow I managed to get through 2 nights with not ONE single picture of her! Playing Dress-Up

I bought this little romper for Julianna last summer thinking it would be great for a photo shoot on the beach this summer. I wanted to try it on her to see how it would fit. It was so cute and she knew it. She walked around telling me she was "priddy" and then played for a while in the laundry basket. Don't worry, I took it off before we got it dirty!






Modeling is exhausting. Time to snuggle with "Sushi." (that's how she says Lucy)
