Sports Wrap up and a Piano Recital

Our sports season finally came to an end.  Julianna absolutely loved playing lacrosse this year and I really enjoyed helping to coach the team.  Mason also enjoyed t-ball and Ike had fun helping with his team as well.  But now that the season is over we are happy to have our weekends back! :)

Julianna performed in her very first piano recital.  I don't think she was nervous one bit.  Kind of funny, because I had to accompany her on one piece and I was extremely nervous!! She did great.  I played a wrong note.

This is Julianna's teacher, Miss Melissa.  She is a piano teacher by day and opera singer by night.

We are so proud of our talented, big girl!

Daddy's Award - May 13, 2014

We got to spend a lovely morning at the Pentagon for an award ceremony recognizing a group of officers for their hard work over the past year.  Ike was selected at the Action Officer of the Year for the J-3 (the specific office within the Joint Chiefs of Staff that he works in).  We are so proud of him for all of his hard work and so glad that he was recognized for it.  He was presented the award by The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Mother's Day pics, Sunday, May 11, 2014

We had a lovely Mother's Day.  We took some pictures before church.  I am blessed to have these 2 sweet children.  They are so cute.

After church, Julianna and I went to get mother-daughter pedicures.

Then we drove over to Kent Island for brunch with the whole family. These boys are getting big.  NeeNee won't be able to hold both of them for long.

Here are some of my Mother's Day gifts.  So sweet!  I love the kids homemade gifts and Julianna picked out some super cute anchor jewelry too!
