The service for Elizabeth's baptism was held at our church and we were so fortunate to have all of our immediate family here for it. The Stutts side traveled over from Alabama and my family from Maryland and DC. Carrie Godmother drove over from Annapolis too. Elizabeth wore the same gown and slip that Julianna and Mason wore for their Baptism. This is the gown that Ike wore home from the hospital. His sister, Jennie Marie, wore it for her baptism and all 3 of her children wore the slip underneath (different gown on top). Nana has everyones monogram inside the slip with their date of birth. It's a great family keepsake. She was a very good girl and did not cry during the ceremony. She looked so beautiful. We are so blessed by this baby and she is so loved.
We are in the middle of a sermon series called "Like a Child" so please excuse the jungle gym in front of us. ha It is not USUALLY there!
Aunt Carrie is expecting a blessing of her own to arrive in early June. We can't wait!
We are so thankful to Carrie for accepting the role of Godmother for all 3 of our children. She is a huge presence in their lives and loves them so much.
Way more comfortable in this onesie!! ahhhhhh :)
