Navy v. Air Force Football

It was SOOOOOO HOT!!! But Navy won!! Go Navy! We had not been to a Navy game in years so it was great to be there.  However, 90 degrees in direct sun is not football weather as far as I'm concerned.  ;)

Despicable Me Party!

Warning:  If you have not seen the movie Despicable Me you will have no idea what is going on here.  :)  The party was the easiest, yet extremely successful birthday party.  We love the movie Despicable Me and we LOVE the minions.  So we assembled all of our minion friends and celebrated Julianna's 7th Birthday.  Each child had their picture taken in the "Box of Shame", we painted minion pumpkins, we played pin the eyeball on the minion and we had tasty minion treats.  Everyone had a great time and I will sleep well tonight.

Julianna, I loved celebrating and having this party for you.  You sure are "One in a Minion."  I love you!!

Lucky #7!

 Every birthday seems impossible.  This one is no different.  Julianna is 7!?!  Crazy.  

She is smart, creative, has a beautiful singing voice, and a great ear at piano.  She is confident, a good student, and she loves Jesus.  What more could you ask for?  I am so proud of her.... but BOY does she know how to push my buttons.  Too smart for her own good!  :)

She has no top teeth but that smile is just as beautiful as ever.  And those eyes...

We can't wait to celebrate with dinner tonight and a party on Sunday!
